JAMMU: PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PHDCCI) Jammu Regional Chapter has welcomed the appointment of Lokesh Jha as the Chairman of J&K State Electricity Regulatory Commission (JKSERC).
In a meeting held here on Saturday, Vikrant Kuthiala, Chairman of the Association said that the activities of JKSERC would go a long way in redressal of consumer grievances and effective monitoring of Power Development Department. The PHDCCI hoped that the commission would also start discharging its duties of providing necessary inputs to the Government about energy sector, its planning besides harnessing other non-conventional resources for power generation.
Kuthiala mentioned that PHDCCI and JKSERCE would work together and shall come up with various options of dealing with new energy sources.
PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry has been serving the nation for last 110 years, as a proactive and dynamic multi-state apex organisation working at grass-root level, with strong national and international linkages.
Kuldeep Gupta and Rakesh Wazir Co-Chairs were also present in the meeting.
