JAMMU: A deputation of J&K Post Graduate Teachers Association (PGTA) led by its Convener, Naresh Kumar met Principal Secretary, School Education Department, Shaleen Kabra and submitted a memorandum of demands.
The deputation were demanding fill all vacant posts of Masters/Lecturers in all subjects in DPC quota strictly, regularization of In-charge incumbents, withdrawal of promotion order of 1193 teachers promoted as masters, etc.
The Principal Secretary gave a patient hearing to the deputation and assured that the vacant posts of Masters/ Lecturers will be filled up after conducting screening test in accordance to government order No 66. The deputation comprised of Rajinder Kumar Sharma, Shakti Kumar, Surinder Kumar Sharma, Ram Pal Sharma, Jugal Kishore and Ravi Kumar.
