JAMMU: The National Cadet Corps (NCC) cadets of Government Post Graduate (PG) College Rajouri excelled in the recently held National Integration Camp (NIC) at Nashik in Maharashtra.
Cadets from the college won record 21 medals, including three gold.
The gold winners were Naseer Ahmed (Best cadet), Sahil Kumar (Anchoring) and Rahul Chandan (Solo Song), a handout issued by the college, here on Friday informed.
The silver (16) medals were won by Neha Sharma, Reenu Devi, Kajal Sharma, Priya Devi, Rubya Iram, Mamta Devi, Rabia Tabassum, Tania, Naseer Ahmed, Imran Khan, Neeraj Kumar, Sukhbir Sing, Mohd Yaseen, Rahul Chandan, Sahil Kumar and Mohd Anees Kasana.
Sahil Kumar was lone bronze medal winner cadet from the college.
“After the completion of the camp the cadets returned today. On their return, these outstanding cadets were given a warm welcome by the Principal of the College, Dr Javaid Ahmed Qazi, who was impressed with the performance of the college NCC team at the national level,” informed NCC Officer Captain Tanwir Ahmed.
