STATE TIMES NEWS SAMBA: To enhance the teaching skills of its faculty members by acquainting them with new research techniques, Pathseekers School on Monday held a workshop for its teachers to enable the teachers to carry out innovative methods for honing knowledge-base of students in a most effective manner. The workshop was held under patronage of Chairman of the School Bhupinder Singh and Principal R.S. Panwar. While addressing the workshop, the Principal gave in-depth lecture on Active Mental Participation (AMP). He said that teachers can drastically improve the oral speaking ability and knowledge of their wards through simple innovative methods suggested in AMP. He also gave brief introduction of BEM to participant teachers for improving their teaching skills. Later, the Principal supervised the activity of opening ribbons without untying the knots to signify that tecahers should help in removing the obstacles coming in the way of their students. He also motivated the teachers to put in dedicated efforts for making their wards meaningful citizens of the nation. “It is the duty of a teacher to remove all the obstacles coming in the way of his/her disciple which can hamper the teaching learning process”, he added.
