JAMMU: Patel Cricket Club (PCC) on Tuesday made it a 46 runs win against Bahu Fort XI in the ongoing JKCA Premier Championship for district Jammu, organised by the District Committee at GGM Science College Hostel ground, here.
Batting first, after winning the toss, PCC set a target of 154 runs losing all their wickets in 28.2 overs. Rytham Mahajan played brilliant innings of 72-ball 70 runs, including two sixes and six boundaries while Abhinav Puri contributed 33 runs to the total. For Bhau Fort XI, Sahil emerged as most successful bowler with three for 28 in 5.2 overs while Rahul and Rohit shared two each.
In reply, Bahu Fort could make 107 runs losing nine wickets in 22.2 overs. Rohit and Raj contributed 17 runs each while Sahil added 16. For PCC, Abhinav Puri claimed three wickets and Sahil bagged two. Tribhuwan, Tayaab Farooq and Dhruv shared apiece each.
For his superb innings, Rytham Mahajan was named Man of the Match. Salim Ur Rehman and Sadiq Hussain Malik were umpires while Vinod was scorer in today’s match.
