STATE TIMES NEWSJAMMU: Parveen Singh of J&K has been selected as one of the top ranked players among Sankuai Indian Karate Team for its annual Japan Training Programme. “The event will be attended by Indian team from October 3 to 8, 2019 and the team will leave from Mumbai on October 2,” a handout issued on Sunday said. This annual training has been prepared for Indian team to promote traditional Karate culture under the guidance of Sensei Arun Kumar Dev, the Secretary General of Nihon Shoto Kan Karate Do Sankukai. Parveen Singh has been trained under Shihan Ambedkar Gupta, the Indian Chief Coach and General Secretary of Karate Association of India.
