STATE TIMES NEWS DODA: All-round performance of Pardeep Mansh helped Joura Cricket Club (JCC) Doda to register victory over Friends Cricket Club (FCC) Thathri by 19 runs in the ongoing All India 15th Gufran Memorial T20 Cricket Championship being organised by Young Star Cricket Club Doda at Sports Stadium, here on Sunday. Earlier batting first after winning the toss, JCC Doda set a total of 181 runs in 20 overs for the loss of eight wickets. Sandeep Kumar was the top scorer with 46 runs while Pardeep Mansh also played well and contributed 35 runs to the total. For bowling side, Umar Ganai, Imran Latief and Adil Jan grabbed two wickets each. In reply while chasing the stipulated target, Friends Cricket Club (FCC) Thathri despite Umar Ganai’s fine knock of 100 runs off 62 balls failed to chase the target and managed to score only 162 runs for the loss of nine wickets in 20 overs. Adil Jan made 12 runs. For JCC Doda, Pardeep Mansh grabbed four wickets in his four overs’ spell while Anjesh Singh claimed two. Pardeep Mansh was declared as Man of the Match for his all- round performance. He was given prize by District Health Officer Dr Tariq Masood along with Ashok Shan. Today’s match was officiated by Irshad Malik, Harish Raza as Umpires while Abdal Shenali and Sandeep Kaushik acted as Scorers.
