JAMMU: Panun Kashmir has lambasted the Chief Minister, Mehbooba Mufti for misleading the nation by stating that Kashmir issue is not a religious issue but a political one.
In a meeting held here on Saturday, President Panun Kashmir, Vijay Bhat made it clear that the Kashmir issue is neither a political nor an economical but only and only a religious issue due to the Islamic radicalisation.
Bhat further said that the J and K is legally, constitutionally, politically, economically and morally integral part of India and those who raise questions or doubts are only immoral, illegal and anti-nationals.
Ravinder Jalali, Convenor said that the statement of Chief Minister is malicious in nature and wants to conceal the facts.
Panun Kashmir also criticised the State Government for giving amnesty to all those against whom charges were framed in 2016. Bhat said that such amnesty only provides breather to militancy and encourages terrorism.
The meeting was attended by Naresh Kumar Raina, K.L Mattoo, R.K Raina, Vijay Koul, A.K Pandita and Chandji Koul besides other executive members.
