STATE TIMES NEWS JAMMU: Department of Orthopaedics, ASCOMS and Hospital, Sidhra Jammu in association with Jammu and Kashmir Orthopaedic Association conducted an Orthopaedic Camp here on Monday at Purkhoo Migrant Camp. The camp was inaugurated by Dr Rajesh Gupta, Prof and Head, Department of Orthopaedics and Daya Krishan, President Purkhoo Migrant Camp Jammu. To celebrate the Bone and Joint Day which is scheduled to be held on August 4, Indian Orthopaedic Association (IOA) and Jammu and Kashmir Orthopaedic Association (JKOA) has planned a number of activities all over State for benefit of poor and needy people. Around 150 patients were examined and free medicines were also distributed. The patients were also screened for free surgeries which will be conducted from August 1 to 8, 2019 at ASCOMS and Hospital, Sidhra, Jammu. The team of doctors comprised of Dr Rajesh Gupta, Dr Aslam Bhat, Dr Sunny Sharma and Dr Vikas Choudhary. The camp was supervised by Raj Kumar, Sports Officer, ASCOMS and Hospital.
