STATE TIMES NEWS JAMMU: With the objective to train and certify their Safaikaramcharis, house keeping staff and other support staff, JK Public School Kunjwani on Thursday organised a workshop on ‘Recognition of Prior Learning ( RPL ) type- 4 under Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojna (PMKVY), and became first organisation with 100 per cent skilled and certified work force’. The workshop was conducted by the resource person Anuradha Jasrotia, who is a certified trainer. She enlightened the workers regarding importance is of their work and how important their place in any organisation as well as in societies. The workers were given a detailed understanding of cleaning of floors, pavements, buildings and other areas. She also laid emphases on maintenance of health and safety, while working effectively with others. She taught about employability, staff skills and digital literacy as well. The workshop concluded with the certification of the workers. Along with Anuradha, Dr. Mansi Jasrotia briefed the participants about health and hygiene, techniques of waste disposal and the necessity of keeping our surroundings clean. Principal, S.K Singh, while welcoming the resource person, laid emphasis on the dignity of individual and on taking pride in one’s work and organisation. More than 200 workers participated in this workshop.
