State Times News KATHUA: In continuation the process of youth development of village Logate under Yuva Adarsh Gram Vikas Karyakaram, NYK Kathua organised 2nd workshop on self-employment and Income Generation on Friday. The workshop was inaugurated by Kamal Dev Bhagat, Deputy Superintendent of Police as Chief Guest and in her address, she stressed upon youth be aware and active to understand the present scenario of employment, challenges, and employment opportunities in different fields and preparing accordingly. In the workshop Dr. Amit Sharma Distt. Nodal Officer, JKEDI, Surjeet, councilor from Employment, Ashok Kumar Koul and District Lead Bank manager, Vivek Sharma from Himayat Project, Narayan Dass from KVIB, Neha Salaria, from SBI Rural Self Employment Training Institute, etc delivered lecture on Skill Development, Employment, financial assistance provided by the Govt. to unemployed youth under various schemes in the age group from 18th years on onward without any specific education qualification. Som Datt Zard, DYC, delivered lecture that Rural Youth having more challenges for employment opportunities with limited resources and awareness. Sarpanch Raja Ram assured that Panchayat will help and guide the youth in establishing links with District Administration for Income Generation and Employment to unemployed Youth.
