JAMMU: National Students’ Union of India (NSUI) has decided to start State wide agitation against the anti-youth SRO-202.
Briefing media persons here on Wednesday, Fairoz Khan, NSUI National President alleged that the fast track recruitment policy under SRO-202 was anti-youth and must be revoked. He criticised the State Coalition Government for implementing so called fast track recruitment policy which is totally against the aspirants of non gazetted State Government job.
Khan said the youth are frustrating due to unemployment whereas government is busy in making amendments in JKPSC and KAS examinations by reducing the upper age limit from 37 to 32 years.
Khan warned that if State Government will not revoke SRO-202 the State NSUI unit will start district wise protests and will also sit on a hunger strike.
Neeraj Kundan National Secretary, National Coordinator Sharvan Badhyal, Raqeeq Khan State President, Amjad Bhat, Vishal Kotwal State Vice Presidents, Avijot Singh, Puneet Singh, C.K Sharma, State General Secretaries, Vikas Bodharia, Anuj, Waseem and Akshay were also present.
