JAMMU: National Panthers Student Unit (NPSU) demanded withdrawal of FIRs filed on Jammuites during different agitation including Amaranth Land Row, Central University agitation, AIIMS agitation. talking to reporters here on Thursday, NPSU Chief, Virender Singh said that the nationalist people of Jammu have always served the nation in best possible ways and have sacrificed their lives for our motherland.
The youth of Jammu is fully devoted to motherland and have never been involved in any kind of anti-nationalist activities, he said adding that contrary to this the people of Kashmir specially the youth of Kashmir has been doing anti-national activities and creates threat for national security.
Despite their anti-national behavior in Valley, he said, the government is rewarding them and giving them jobs.
On the other hand, there is no planning by government to withdraw FIRs lodged against the youth of Jammu who were fighting for their rights during various agitations, he said.
Singh said that if government talks about equality between the two provinces then it must withdraw the FIRs lodged against the youth of Jammu as their offences are nothing as compared to the youth of Kashmir.
