NOWSHERA: A big rally of shirtless protesters walked through the lanes and Chowks of Nowshera and finally reached Tehsil office where they raised slogans against the Coalition Government. They said that the Government has closed its eyes and ears to see and understand the genuine necessity of District Headquarters at Nowshera. On the 26th day of protest, total Bandh was observed with closures of schools, business establishments, banks and government offices. “Nowshera has suffered a loss of hundreds of crores but the government remained unmoved towards the interests of Jammu people and is concentrating towards the people of Valley, the protestors alleged.
President Beopar Mandal Subhash Kapoor appealed to the Prime Minister Narendra Modi to intervene and save the people of Nowshera who are targeted by the Pakistani forces and ignored by the Coalition Government of Jammu and Kashmir even after exhausting all types of non-violent remedies for pressing their genuine demand of district. He said that they are now left with the only option to Gherao the Secretariat and the Ministers at Jammu and face the lathi-charge and tear gas which now they have decided to do soon.
