JAMMU: Minister for Agriculture, Ghulam Nabi Hanjura, on Monday informed the Legislative Council that presently there was no policy for regularization of Lecturers and Demonstrators working in various Government Polytechnics and technical department on the academic arrangement.
The Minister was replying to a calling attention notice by legislator Charanjeet Singh in the House in this regard.
The Minister informed the House that the selection against the teaching Gazetted and Non-Gazetted posts are referred to the recruiting agencies including J&K Public Service Commission and J&K Service Selection Board.
He, however said, “As per the Court directions the candidates who were already engaged on academic arrangements are not to be replaced with other academic arrangements till the permanent arrangements are made by the Department and the same process is continuing as on date,” he informed.
