JAMMU: As a part of providing social upliftment to the students residing in the vicinity of the project, Nimmo Bazgo Power Station distributed the winter tuition fees to nine government schools of the district, run by Education Committees. The motive of this programme under NHPC’s CSR and SD Scheme was to keep students engaged in their studies during extreme winter of this region when schools are closed. Head of the Power Station, S. Adhikari distributed a total amount of Rs 4,75,000 in the form of cheques to the various representatives of the schools who had conducted winter tuitions. S Adhikari told that to develop the nation it is necessary to invest in the students who are future of country and we shall continue this support in the coming years.
