STATE TIMES NEWSNew Delhi: A deputation of All J&K NHM Employees Association led by its President, Rohit Seth met Dr Harsh Vardhan, Minister of Health and Family Welfare and briefed him about various demands of NHM employees working in J&K. Seth apprised the Union Health Minister that during last year’s meeting, the association had submitted a memorandum of demands, but till date all the demands and grievances have not been redressed. The deputation further informed the Union Minister about various problems and demands of NHM employees and discussed issue of regularisation. The deputation again submitted a charter of demands to Dr Harsh Vardhan which included regularisation of all NHM employees, hike in salary of NHM staff at par with Delhi and Haryana, grant of leave benefits, timely release of salary etc. The Union Minister gave a patient hearing to the deputation and assured that he would try to resolve all their issues at the earliest. The deputation comprised of Dr Raman Sharma General Secretary, Dr Nazir Hussain Joint Secretary, Mohit Seth Vice President and Mukesh Singh Secretary Jammu District.
