SRINAGAR: Former Minister Ab Gani Vakil condemned the increasing harassment of students within and outside educational institutions in Kashmir Valley. Coming down heavily on the government Vakil said allowing forces to enter the premises of any educational institution, be it school, college or university, shows the autocratic tendencies of a popular government which should have pondered over the low turnout recorded in recent bye polls in Srinagar parliamentary constituency. Vakil said that non-seriousness of the Central Government in initiating a process of political outreach in the State is also equally responsible for current mess in Kashmir and dialogue with stake holders if delayed even now could push Kashmiris to a point of no return from alienation to democratic participation.
