SRINAGAR: Member J and K State Sports Council (JKSSC) and veteran footballer, Nazir Ahmad has been made Joint Secretary (Kashmir) in the Standing Committee meeting of the JKSSC held here on Monday. Nazir, who is head of referees of J and K Football Association (JKFA), has replaced president of JKFA, Zameer Thakur. Important to mention here that Zamir had resigned from the post citing personal reasons and the post remained vacant for months together.
Meanwhile, JKFA through a handout issued here, congratulated Nasir for the appointment.
