STATE TIMES NEWS JAMMU: Natrang’s Children Theatre Camp-2019 is buzzing with creativity and innovation these days. A group of 70 children produce and perform almost five to six short-plays every day and the most noteworthy part of these new creations is that from conceptualisation to story to direction and acting, every creative department is being looked-after by children themselves under the guidance of a team of 7 to 8 experienced trainers of Natrang. One trainer, Vaishali Dhiman came all way from New Delhi to train future stars of Natrang. “Children at Natrang’s Theatre Camp are setting novice trends by exploring new horizons of creativity and innovation and are experimenting alternative way of self-exploration through magnificent art of theatre. Natrang organises children theatre camp every year since 1990. This is the only platform for children in Jammu where children can get an out of world exposure of art and culture. They are provided immense opportunities to explore their hidden talents,” Natrang Director Balwant Thakur said. He further informed that everywhere, work of creativity with children is being done as a fashion, but in Natrang, highly experienced and trained people work in infusing creativity amongst children. “The organisation is all set to devise a yearlong theatre training programme to make children aware of their own self-actualisation with the help of experts training them,” he added.
