JAMMU: Hindi Play ‘Mind Games’ written and directed by Sumeet Sharma was featured on third day of Natrang Theatre Festival here at Abhinav Theatre.
Natrang has organised four-day theatre festival to commemorate the completion of 35 glorious years of Natrang.
Today’s play ‘Mind Games’ is highly experimental play which is conceived, written and directed by Sumeet Sharma, a Post Graduate in Dramatics and recipient of SNA’s Bismillah Khan Yuva Puraskar for Theatre Direction.
Sumeet Sharma played the central character of the play Ajeet with professional ease and exhibited his versatility as an actor. Abhi Bargotra as Krish was also very impressive in playing a complex character. Vanshika Gupta as Simran did a notable performance. Anil Tickoo as Boss, Goutam Sharma as Kumar and Mohammad Yaseen as Peon also received appreciation from the audience for their impressive acting.
Others who participated in the play include Gautam Kumar, Vrinda Sharma, Ashley Mehta, Meenakshi Bhagat, Mahikshit Singh, Shivam Singh, Mohit Kaul, Brijesh Avtar Sharma, Sushant Singh Charak, Akash Bhat and Manoj Kumar Lalotra. Lights were executed by Rahul Singh and the music was rendered by Bhisham Gupta and Brijesh Avtaar Sharma.
The show was presented by Sunita Pandit and the hall management was done by Suresh Kumar, Subash Jamwal, Gauri Thakur, Deepali Sharma, Manoj Lalotra, Ankush Lakhnotra and Shivam Sharma.
On the concluding day of Natrang Theatre Festival, Natrang’s highly acclaimed Dogri play ‘Bawa Jitto’ will be presented at Abhinav Theatre, Jammu.
