CHANDIGARH: Natraj Natya Kunj, Jammu, on Wednesday performed nationally acclaimed Hindustani Play ‘Gagan Damama Bajyo’ here at Tagore Theatre. The play was written by Piyush Mishra and directed by Abhishek Bharti.
The play was staged under the ongoing Jammu and Kashmir Festival organized by North Zone Cultural Centre, Patiala in collaboration with Chandigarh Sangeet Natak Akademi. This play is based on the life and ideology of Shaheed Bhagat Singh.
The activists who performed in the play include Akshay Razdan, Kanav Sharma, Amandeep Sharma, Abhishek Sharma, Mukesh Bakshi, Rakesh Dogra, Niharika Shakshi, Hema Shivgotra, Karan Mehra, Manik Sharma, Surbhi Balgotra, Abbas Ali Alikoo, Tejan Bharti and Pranav Sharma. The sets were designed by Kanwar Iqbal, lights by Pawan Kumar, Make-Up by Manoj Dhamir Shammi, music by Surinder Singh Manhas and Choreography by Romit Sawhney. The melodious songs were sung by Surinder Singh Manhas, Nirbhay Singh Salathia, Marina Manhas and Monika Sharma and the play was assisted by Aaditya Bharti.
