DODA: A National Lok Adalat was held at TLSC Headquarter courts complex Doda under the chairmanship of Chairman Tehsil Legal Services Committee (CJM Doda) Khim Raj Sharma where 240 cases were taken up, out of which 34 cases were settled. During the National Lok Adalat, an award of Rs. 7,74,969 was passed and Rs 4,800 were recovered from the defaulters on-the-spot.
In this National Lok Adalat, large number of public litigants, representatives of different banks including JK Bank, SBI Bank, JCCB Jammu, PNB, EDB advocates, social workers and journalists participated. In the National Lok Adalat, the people were made aware about their rights and duties. The people in general were informed that in case they are interested in settling their genuine cases, they can approach the Court for resolving their cases in next Lok Adalat.
