STATE TIMES NEWS LEH: Member Parliament Ladakh, Jamyang Tsering Namgyal on Sunday afternoon called on the Advisor to Governor, K K Sharma at Leh and took up various important issues concerning Ladakh and sought his intervention for early redressal. Various demands and issues highlighted by the MP included restoration of Pawan Hans Helicopter services in Ladakh keeping in view of vast and cut-off geographical condition of region, early release of pending salary of PDD officials in Leh district, recruitment of staff for newly created degree colleges at Khaltsi and Drass, transfer of IRP Ladakhi Police at Leh, release of salary in favour of PHE contractual employees, 10 per cent Special Duty Allowances in favour of State Government employees working in Ladakh, State Government’s intervention in speedy progress of various hydro projects in Ladakh, etc. Giving justifications on each issues, Namgyal urged the Governor’s administration to take necessary measures for resolving all these genuine issues. After having detailed discussions on all issues, Sharma gave assurance to look into all legitimate matters at Government level.
