STATE TIMES NEWS RAJOURI: As many as 50 prominent Muslims from Rajouri district joined BJP in the presence of state senior party leader and MLC Vibodh Gupta on Sunday. While addressing the gathering , MLC welcomed them into BJP family and said that entire country has reposed its faith in the policies of PM Narendra Modi and the organisational schemes of Bhartiya Janta Party’s Chief Amit Shah. He asserted that the slogan Sabka Sath Sabka Vikas and the progressive work of Modi led central government have attracted people belonging to different backgrounds to join BJP and they strongly believe that development will come through BJP. MLC further hailed the central government for its special focus to foster development and peace in the twin border district of Rajouri-Poonch. He said that all sections of society are feeling empowered and the graph of socio-economic progress and equality is touching peaks. He spoke on 3% reservation to Paharis, reservation in promotion to Gujjars, passport office and many other works that testifies Modi’s commitment to deliver Sabka Sath Sabka Vikas. MLC further said that PDP-NC has refused to fight elections in parliamentary seats of Jammu which reflects that both the parties have acknowledged that this time people will vote for BJP in large and their communal division wouldn’t work against Modi’s vision. Prominent Muslims who joined BJP were Asif Nasir, Kabeer Ahmed, Naseer Ahmed, Haghi, Salam Deen, Sulman Shah, Balwan Singh, Raju Sanhi, Sanjeev Bardwaj, Mohd Rayaz, Mubhat Khan, Mohd Shakeel, Ramzan Khan, Waqyar Husain, Asime Kawaja, Saqib khan, Yasser Khan. BJP District President Dinesh Sharma, Darbar Chowdhary, Dev Raj Sharma, Sanjay Sharma, Dr. Makhan, Koushal Gupta, Bodh Raj, Adv Asif Iqbal, Mohd Yousif Kholi, Karan Saryal, Mohd Azeem, Zahid Ahmed, Ajay Raina, Nischal Gupta and Yogesh Kumar were present on the occasion.
