JAMMU: The student wing of Chenab Valley Student’s Association (CVSA) on Monday framed its new State body in a function held at Jammu University.
Fairoz Khan founder of CVSA was the Chief Guest on the occasion, flanked by Adv. Narinder Sharma legal advisor as the Guest of Honour.
In the newly framed CVSA State body included Mehran Anjum Mir as State President, Kailash Manhas Vice President, Aftab Zakir keen General Secretary, Sanjeet Thakur General Secretary and Drawer Jhangeer Secretary.
Speaking on the occasion Fairoz Khan congratulated the newly framed body of CVSA and said that the organisation is purely non political and for the cause of students belonging from Chenab region. He reminded that on 1st of August 2007 CVSA was formed in order to struggle for the welfare of Students community and every year on 1st of August its foundation day is celebrated.
Addressing in the function, State President Mehran Anjum Mir said that appointment as CVSA chief is a golden opportunity for him to serve the students belonging to far-flung area. Student activist present in the function included Anil Kumar, Pawan Kumar, Ajay Manhas , Shabaaz Razza Kohli, Rashid and others.
