JAMMU: Media-XI trounced Bishnah Cricket Club by seven wickets in a friendly cricket match played at Phalian Mandal Cricket Ground, here on Saturday.
After winning toss, Bishnah Cricket Club led by Ashwani decided to bat first and set a target of 152 runs for the loss of six wickets in 20 overs. Ankush scored highest 54 runs off 40 balls while Sachin made 24 off 14 balls. For Media-XI, Sachin and Sunil shared two wickets each. Chasing the target, Media-XI, led by Mir Imran, made 152 runs in 15.1 overs for the loss of three wickets and won the match by seven wickets.
Sachin scored 41 runs off 20 balls and remained the top scorer while Sunil scored 37 off 27 balls. Ashwani for Bishnah Club grabbed two wickets in four overs while Sachin also scalped two wickets.
