STATE TIMES NEWS POONCH: Continuing with the process of distributing essential commodities, M.D Banday Memorial Society Poonch (NGO) on Wednesday visited village Sawjian, Khet and Chakrara and provided packs of dry food items to economically backward and differently abled people of these villages. The deserving persons were identified by the prominent citizens of these areas. While speaking with the media Er. Saleem Banday General Secretary of the NGO told that since lockdown we have been helping every needy person and further said the process will continue till the lockdown is over. We have also distributed cooked food and dry food to the migrant labourers in Poonch town whose daily life has been affected. He also made an appeal to the public to stay indoors and maintain social distancing to break the chain. He also thanked the district administration including police department for providing every help to the public in this crisis of global pandemic. The other members who accompanied were Ajit Singh Jeet, Imran Hussain, Naveed Sheikh, Th. Kuljit Singh, Karnesh Kumar, Liaqat Banday, Jagjit Singh, Sohail Imtiaz, Neeraj Kumar, Sajid Imtiaz, Waqar Ahmed, Waseem Raja, Tanveer Banday and Rameez Khalid.
