JAMMU: Masood Club on Tuesday registered a comfortable seven wickets win against Boys Higher Secondary School Bhadarwah in the District Doda Cricket Tournament, organised by J&K Cricket Association (JKCA), at Degree College Ground, Bhadarwah.
Earlier, batting first, Boys Higher Secondary School Bhadarwah made 129 runs losing all their wickets in 18 overs.
Urfan scored highest 43 runs off 26 runs (6×4, 2×6) while Azmat and Saqib contributed 16 and 12 runs respectively. For Masood Club, Aman claimed four wickets, followed by Abid, who took two.
In reply, Masood Club attained the goal making 131 runs for three wickets in 14 overs. Abid played superb innings of unbeaten 44 runs off 27 balls while Rasim and Mehraan added valuable 20 and 18 runs respectively. Abrar claimed three wickets for Boys School.
Meanwhile, in another match of the day, Youth Combine Bhadarah registered a huge 115 runs win against Bhallesa XI at the same venue.
Batting first, Youth Combine lost all their wickets for 191 runs in 29 overs of the 30 overs a side game.
Imran hit half century scoring 58 runs off 40 balls while Zeeshan contributed 40 and Aarif added 18. For Bhallesa XI, Irfan secured most of the five wickets.
Later, Bhallesa XI was bowled out cheaply for 71 runs in 11 overs. Ashraf with (19) and Shafqat (13) runs were main contributors to the total. Aarif took four wickets while Rizwan and Khalid shared two each.
