SAMBA: Police on Tuesday arrested a man along with cash on suspicion basis during a Naka checking at Bari Brahmana in. According to a report, as per reliable sources, a team of Bari Brahmana Police Station headed by Inspector Ravinder Rakwal laid Naka on Jammu Pathankot National Highway near Sarore. On seeing the Naka party, a Mahindra vehicle coming from Jammu side took a u-turn and proceeded towards Gullar Basti at Sarore. After few hours the driver of the vehicle left Sarore on bike but police intercepted him. During his frisking police recovered Rs 43,000 cash from his possession. The accused identified as Manzoor son of Abdullah resident of Hiranagar was arrested and investigation started. Later the Police team raided Sarore village where he had hidden the vehicle without registration number. Police has taken cognisance in the matter and started investigation.
