KVK officials celebrating National Youth Day.

REASI: Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK), Reasi of Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology-Jammu (SKUAST-J) organised National Youth Day at Mansoo village of Reasi District which was attended by a large number of rural youths from the village.
The programme was organised under the guidance of Dr.R.K Arora, Associate Director Extension and Incharge KVKs of SKUAST-J. Dr. Banarsi Lal, Scientist and Head of KVK, Reasi explaining the significance of National Youth Day. He informed the participants that the Indian Government declared 12th of January as the National Youth Day in 1984. He narrated that Swami Vivekananda was a great religious leader whose ideas inspired the country’s youths for the overall development of the nation. He urged the participants to follow the teachings of Swami Vivekananda and inculcate in themselves his ideas of international brotherhood.
Dr.Sanjay Kaushal, stressed on the quality education for the overall development of the youths. The programme was assisted by Manohar Lal and concluded by Dr.Banarsi Lal, Scientist and Head of KVK, Reasi with vote of thanks.
