STATE TIMES NEWS SAMBA: Krishi Vigyan Kendra Samba under the aegis of Directorate of Extension, Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences and Technologies Jammu organised an in-service training programme on ‘Time and Stress Management’. Around 25 officials/officers of Department of Agriculture/Horticulture Samba participated in the programme which was conducted under the direct supervision of Dr. R.K Arora, ADE (KVKs), SKUAST Jammu. The programme was started with the introduction of Krishi Vigyan Kendra Samba by Dr. Vinod Gupta, Sr. Scientist & Head, KVK Samba and discussed about the importance of effective Time Management, identify strengths and weaknesses and also identify causes of stress and its impact on the workplace. During the programme, Puran Ji, Bhartiya Yog Sansthan Kendra, Jammu stressed the importance of Time Management and its relationship to causes and symptoms of stress. A brief session of Pranayams, Asanas and meditation was also conducted under the direct supervision of Puran, which was highly appreciated by the participants. Dr. B.S Jamwal, Chief Scientist and Inchare, PRSS, Samba, Dr. Sanjay Khajuria, Dr. Neerja Sharma, Shalini Khajuria and Sahil Talgotra participated in yoga session. At the end, vote of thanks was delivered by Dr. Neerja Sharma.
