STATE TIMES NEWS REASI: Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Reasi of Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology-Jammu organised a training programme on Entrepreneurship development in agriculture on Friday at Chamada village of Reasi district which was attended by number of farmers of the village. Dr.Banarsi Lal, Scientist &Head of KVK, Reasi KVK gave a detailed view of agri-entrepreneurship and said the farmers that should divert themselves from the subsistence agriculture to commercial agriculture. He guided them on the scientific cultivation of pulses, oilseeds, cereals, aromatic and medicinal plants etc. He said that farmers they should take the opportunities to become the agri-entrepreneurs and by doing so they can increase their income and can also create employment for the others. During the programme Capt. Jagdish Singh was also presented who appreciated KVK efforts for imparting agricultural education to the farmers. The programme was assisted by Manohar Lal and concluded by Dr. Banarsi Lal, Scientist &Head of KVK, Reasi with formal vote of thanks.
