STATE TIMES NEWS JAMMU: Students of KC Public School recently took part in the Global Round Square Virtual Conference facilitated by Chittagong Grammar School, Bangladesh as part of the series of inter-school interactions. More than 40 Round Square schools from South Asia and Gulf Region took part in the conference dealing with a variety of themes. Students of KCPS held a virtual class on the theme ‘Usher in the Sunshine of Mindfulness’ to express their views on it. The participants were Samarth Gupta, Vansh Vardhan Singh, Bhavyta Anand, Digvijay Singh, Swati Pawar and Krishna Saproo. Prior to the conference, they had researched the topic thoroughly and enjoyed the experience of sharing their thoughts and discussing the theme with their peers from other schools. The main objective of the conference was to empower youth to lead by example and inspire others to realise their full potential to deal with world’s increasing complexities and uncertainties. KCPS students asserted that ‘Mindfulness’ can lead us to effective, resilient and low-cost responses to problems we face in the fast-gratification culture of today. The conference connected the Round Square community together on a single day to learn from one another and to take joy in reinforcing the shared values and commitments acquired from Round Square ideals. Participants in the workshop from KCPS were Mishika Mittal, Maitri Gupta, Soumya Kapur, Bhumika Mahajan, Ojas Kapur, Aades Vir Singh, Archit Bhatia and Karmanya Gupta.
