JAMMU: Justice Sanjeev Kumar of J&K High Court is amongst eight judges from the different High Courts of the country selected to participate in the workshop on trial of counter terrorism cases to be held by the Central and Eastern European Law Initiative Institute in collaboration with Federal Judicial Centre (FJC), Washington DC.
It may be noted that the first phase of workshop was held in the National Judicial Academy on October 27 and 28, 2017 at Bhopal in which as many as 23 judges from different High Courts of the country participated. Accordingly, eight out of the 23 judges including Justice Sanjeev Kumar, Judge High Court of Jammu and Kashmir were selected by the Governing Council of the National Judicial Academy headed by Chief Justice of India to attend the 2nd phase of the judicial programme in US. Justice Sanjeev Kumar would be leaving the country on September 8, 2018 and would be back on September 15, 2018.
