PATNITOP: The ten-day annual camp organised by the Directorate of Sports and Physical Education, University of Jammu (JU) for the students of the M.P.Ed and B.P.Ed courses at the Patnitop concluded on Friday with the camp fire.
The aforesaid camp started on June 26 in which various activities were performed by the students viz. yoga, trekking, art and craft, etc.
Prof. R.D Sharma Vice Chancellor University of Jammu was the Chief Guest of the valedictory function along with his wife Kiran Sharma.
Students performed various cultural items which were appreciated by the Chief Guest and others.
Prof. Sharma congratulated the students and organisers for the successful organisation of the camp.
Prof. Sharma said that such camps not only contribute in the mental and physical growth but also hone the talent of the youth and also help in the overall personality development. He also lauded the students for attending the camp successfully.
Others present were Dr. Daud Iqbal Baba Director Sports JU, Dr. Neeraj Sharma Special Secretary to the VC, Akhilesh Sharma Liaison Officer, Om Prakash Warden Youth Hostel, Patnitop, Vikram Manhas Incharge Police Post Patnitop, Gagan Kumar, Ravish Vaid, Raj Kumar, Vinay Manhas, Vikas Karlopia, Harinderpal Singh Surinder Kumar and Bagh Ali.
