JAMMU: A team of ten NSS volunteers from various colleges of Jammu region accompanied by a program officer participated in ten-day long National Integration Camp organized by Himachal Pradesh State NSS in Bani Village, Hamirpur District of Himachal Pradesh.
About 230 volunteers and 30 Program Officers hailing from 15 States participated in the camp.
Various activities and competitions were organized starting from yoga and meditation sessions in the mornings to cultural performances in the evening.
The team from Jammu University excelled in poster making, slogan writing, mono-acting, Rangoli, exhibition and group dance competitions winning six trophies.
The volunteers who participated in the camp were Sahil Singh, Sahil Jamwal, Ritesh Singh, Rahul Sharma, Mohammad Saleem, Deepika Jaral, Vanshika Jamwal, Nandini, Jashika and Deepika Dutta. Khalid Sheikh from Government Polytechnic Jammu was deputed as contingent in-charge for the camp.
Dr Vishav Raksha, Program Coordinator NSS appreciated the efforts of the volunteers for their performances in the camp.
