STATE TIMES NEWS JAMMU: In connection with Anti-Terrorism Day, the Department of Students Welfare, University of Jammu organised a Poster Making competition for students of the University. Dean Students Welfare, Prof Jasbir Singh informed that every year, May 21 is observed as Anti-Terrorism Day in India to wean away youth from terrorism besides making them understand that how dangerous it is for the world. Students from different departments of the university participated in the event and expressed their ideas regarding the theme ‘Anti-Terrorism’ in a creative manner. A pledge was also taken on the occasion. Others present during the event included Prof S K Pandita, Chairman Campus Cultural Committee; Dr B K Bajaj Associate Dean SW; Dr Garima Gupta, Dr Anil Gupta Assistant Deans SW, Dr Vinay Thusoo, PRO Students Welfare and Incharge Media Cell; Dr Savita Nayyar, Dr Pallavi Sachdeva and Dr Meghna Dhar, members of Campus Cultural Committee. The event was coordinated by Ifra Kak, Cultural Officer and Sumeet Sharma, Drama Instructor.
