JAMMU: J&K Rifle Association (JKRA) felicitated Anu Sharma, shooting coach of International Delhi Public School (IDPS) who has qualified the prestigious International Shooting Sports Federation (ISSF)-B-Judges course in Pune.
The course was conducted by David Anthony, good fellow from United Kingdom. He is the chairman of ISSF Rifle Committee and Chairman of English Small Bore Shooting Union.
A total of 35 shooters participated in this event from all over India.
Anu Sharma is the single shooter from Jammu and Kashmir who participated and qualified the ISSF judges course.
Also, it is a proud moment for Jammu and Kashmir as she is the first woman to qualify this course from the entire region.
“Under his guidance and technical tips of the Chairman JKRA Dilbag Singh, the association is doing par excellence in shooting in the State,” Kuldeep Singh Jamwal President JKRA told reporters.
Amjad Parvez Mirza, SSP (Retd) (General Secretary), Sharat Chander Singh (Vice President J&K Rifle Association), Rajesh Virdhy (Chairman-tech committee JKRA) and Randeep Wazir (Academic Director IDPS), Suminder Singh (Managing Director IDPS), Swaran Choudhary (Managing Direstor IDPS), Madhu Abrol (School Manager), Guneet Mann (Headmistress), Jyoti Sharma (Event Manager) and Pooja Khurana (Kindergarten Coordinator) were also present on the occasion.
Chairperson IDPS, Manisha Choudhary also congratulated Anu Sharma and IDPS for this big achievement.
