JAMMU: JK Public School Panjtirthi celebrated World Health Day with zeal and gusto in its premises here on Monday. The event was conceived and organised with great aplomb to reinforce the importance of balanced diet, food safety and good health.
Jakians with their dedicated efforts and sharp acumen staged a short skit depicting the importance of healthy food intake and significance of saving food from getting wasted.
The importance of homemade food as against the junk food was also discussed threadbare by the students of JKPS Panjtirthi. Besides, the day was marked to adopt healthy lifestyle which ensures good health, sharp mind, positive attitude and good mood.
Principal of the School, Suman Banbah, while dwelling on the topic emphasised that it is the good health which can bring real happiness and help humans to enjoy wealth. She said that healthy lifestyle ignites right thoughts and these in turn stimulate right actions. She also advised the Jakians to improve their eating habits and exercise daily to gain agility, cheerfulness and good health.
Availing maximum out of this opportunity, the Jakians in large numbers walked on the podium to express their perspectives on eating right food and remaining healthy and wise.
