STATE TIMES NEWS JAMMU: Students of JK Public School (JKPS) Kunjwani brought laurels to the school by winning galaxy of medals in Science Olympiad Foundation (SOF) International G.K and English Olympiad 2018 conducted on September 21 and October 13, 2018 respectively. International GK Olympiad is conducted by Science Olympiad Foundation (SOF) for students studying in classes 1st -10th for examining students regarding their general awareness as per their level. “JKPS has always motivated the students to participate in such competitions and JKIANS have always excelled on their part,” S.K Singh, Principal of the School, said. S.K Singh, principal, JKPS, applauded the students as they won 21 medals including 11 gold, eight silver and eight bronze in both. In G.K, Adit Sharma, Niharika Singh, Fatima Zohra, Abhay Mahajan and Tanvi Bhardwaj won gold medals while Harshit Bavoria, Rajveer Singh, Sayed Uzairuddin and Nehari Aryan got silver and Pranav Sharma, Karmanya Raina, Swapnila Acharya and Swapnil Choudhary secured bronze medals. For English Olympiad, gold medal winner were Pranav Sharma, Karmanya Raina, Azmat Farooq, Naman Sharma, Kushagra Kaul and Nikhil Vermani while Aditi Sharma, Pranav Bhardwaj, Ishvin Kaur and Ruheen Akhtar got silver and Irwanjyot Singh Bali, Sanchita Sahi, Vansh Bhasih and Annanya bagged bronze medals. The Principal appreciated the hard work and efforts of their teachers- Simranjeet Singh and Pooja Nehru.
