STATE TIMES NEWS JAMMU: Visits play a vital role in the teaching learning process, as they give children a breakthrough from regular classroom routine and they get to know more besides books. Keeping the benefits of field visits in mind, JK Public School, Kunjwani always arranges scheduled visits which give the students firsthand experience. As a part of this, an industrial visit was organised by the JK Public School (JKPS) Kunjwani under the International School Award (ISA) Accreditation activity for a group of 35 students to different small and large scale industries in Industrial Estate at Bari Brahmana. The students were accompanied by the ISA Coordinator, Roopali Sharma, Science teacher, Sunita Trisal and TGT Audio/ Visual, Rishiv Prabhakar. The trip was organised with a motive to acquaint the children with the working of these industries, sources of energy used by them and how much mega watt of electricity are used and difference in the workings of small and large scale industries in connection to man power and machinery utilised. The trip was an enthusiastic one as the children were focused and inquisitive to know the answers of the questions in their minds. While returning, they were equally excited as they had a great deal of knowledge which the wanted to share with the teachers and other students in the school.
