JAMMU: JK Public School Kunjwani on Wednesday organised ‘fireless cooking’ activity for the students of class XI.
This was a group activity and the students experimented with some no-flame foods like Mock tails, Tiramisu, Compressed Fruit chart and Salads.
The boys and girls equally showed their interest for cooking. Cooking time was a perfect occasion for them to strengthen their bond with their classmates and a new learning experience.
Principal, S.K Singh appreciated the initiative and congratulated the winners.
“Every school in their curriculum have different activities to develop various skills of the children. They learn singing, dancing, painting and acting but sometimes the most important skill that helps them throughout life gets ignored and that is cooking,” he said.
He added that these kinds of activities prepare the students for life and will be a part of school curriculum in future as well.
