STATE TIMES NEWS JAMMU: It was a proud moment for JK Public School (JKPS) Kunjwani to receive ‘Fit India School’ Certificate awarded by the Government of India, Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports under the nation-wide ‘Fit India Movement’ launched by the Prime Minister on August 29, 2019. As a part of the initiative undertaken to promote Fit India Movement involving students, teachers and parents in collaboration with CBSE, the school has been enthusiastically participating in fitness related programmes and giving sports its due importance. The school has been recognised by the Ministry as a Fit India School rated on the standardised parameters as defined by the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of India. The Chairman of the School, Raj Daluja has been a great source of inspiration and is actively involved to promote such programmes and initiatives. The School Management has provided vast infrastructure and excellent sports facilities so as to inculcate in students the fitness and love for sports from early years of school curriculum.
