JAMMU: JK Public School (JKPS) Kunjwani won the Rolling Trophy of Inter-School Quiz Zone-2017 organised and hosted by KC Public School, Jammu.
As many as 12 teams consisting of two participants each from top notched CBSE School participated in this competition.
The quiz was based on General Knowledge and Current Affairs. Every round was a mixed bag with questions from History, Science, Art and Culture, Sports and Personality.
The brilliant students of JK Public School, Anchit Proch and Swapnil Choudhary answered all the questions skillfully and enthralled everyone present there. Though questions were intriguing, exciting and very tricky, but they answered the same with confidence.
From the beginning, team JKPS played with full determination and were adjudged the contestants No 1 and the winners of the competition, after the finale.
The Chief Guest of this event Prof Vivek Arya of Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Science and Technology of Jammu honoured team JKPS with Rolling Trophy.
The competition provided a platform to the students to exhibit their talent aimed at fostering a healthy spirit of competition. The students enjoyed the quiz competition a lot as they were able to enhance their knowledge through the questions asked.
The School Management and Principal S.K Singh congratulated the winners and felicitated them in a special assembly for their wonderful performance.
Addressing the assembly, the principal said Anchit Proch and Swapnil Choudhary are the most promising students of JK Public School, Kunjwani and they made us proud by winning the trophy.
