STATE TIMES NEWS KATHUA: An Inter-house Swimming Competition was organised by JK Public School Kathua on Wednesday. The final round of the competition had three rounds in which boys and girls participated under the supervision of Swimming Coach Kiran Sambyal. Apart from usual events such as freestyle, breast stroke, butterfly stroke and backstroke there was a relay for students. The competition was categorised into three sections, sub junior, junior and senior. In sub junior category of boys, the winners were Pragnay Gupta of class 2nd who got first position, Ashmeet Chambyal of class 2nd got second position and Viaan Gupta of class LKG got third position and from girls Aradhya Sharma of class 2nd got first position, Vastavi Dubey of class 2nd got second position and Himani Dubey of class 2nd got third position. In Junior category of boys, Amandeep Sharma of class 6th got first position, Danish of class 6th second position and Aayaan Mahajan of class 5th got third position and from girls Mansavi Pathania of class 6th got first position, Ayushi Jasrotia of class 6th second position and Shreyasi Khajuria of class 4th got third position. In Senior category of boys Shivdeep Salaria of class 9th got first position, Dheeraj Singh of class 10th second position and Rahul Singh of class 10th got third position and from girls Sheetal Jasrotia of class 9th got first position, Sanya Choudhary of class 7th second position and Mansi Sharma of class 7th got third position. Principal Anil Pathania congratulated the children and encouraged them to participate in such competitions.
