STATE TIMES NEWS SRINAGAR: JKPM Chief Spokesperson, Advocate Sajad Sheikh on Friday expressed serious concern over deteriorating power supply scenario in Jammu Division. Advocate Sajad, in a statement issued here, said that electricity is playing hide and seek with people in entire Jammu Division. Frequent power-cuts are causing unbearable hardships to people, especially to students and it is highly unfortunate that concerned authorities are least considerate to ensure regular power supply in the area, he said. The Spokesman further said that no proper schedule is being followed on ground level to enforce power curtailments and unscheduled power-cuts are causing numerous hardships to people of the region in scorching summer season, when mercury has already touched 44 degree mark. Advocate Sajad urged the concerned authorities to take immediate steps for ensuring uninterrupted power supply in the division besides improving power distribution infrastructure in Jammu city at the earliest.
