STATE TIMES NEWS JAMMU: A deputation of All J&K Ophthalmic Technicians Employees Association (JKOTEA), Jammu led by Sushil Sudan President Jammu Kashmir Medical Employees Association and R.K Kotwal Association President met Director Health Services (DHS) Jammu Dr. Samir Mattoo, here on Wednesday. A charter of demands pertaining to the cadre has been submitted to the government through Director Health Services, Jammu. The Director Health Services gave a patient hearing to the demands put forth by the deputation. The demands include creation of new posts of Chief Ophthalmic Technician in all erstwhile District of Jammu Division, posts of Head Ophthalmic technician in left out Districts Hospitals of Jammu Division, additional post for Supervisory Ophthalmic Technician in all left out CHCs/SDH of Jammu Division, additional posts of Jr. Ophthalmic Tech. and senior ophthalmic Technician in all CHCC/SDH District Hospital and all left out Primary Health Centers of Jammu Division and constitution of Ophthalmic Council for J&K and registration of the Cadre thereof. Others present were Onkar Singh, K.K Gupta, Ram Raj, Kuldeep Kumar, Jatiner Kumar and Neeraj.
