JAMMU: JK Public School students left no stone unturned in the field of sports. A student of JK Public School, Kunjwani participated in the Inter-district Judo Championship bringing accolades for herself and the school. The championship was organised by Department of Youth Services and Sports at MA Stadium from September 6 to 8, 2017.
Vanshika Manhas of Class XI bagged gold medal in (U-19) Inter-district Judo championship. She represented Jammu District and beat Reasi District in the same category. She is selected for Division level Championship to be held in the month of October 2017.
The school management and Principal, S.K Singh congratulated her for the stunning performance and felicitated her in a special assembly.
The coach Rajesh Verma was appreciated for his guidance and channelising the students’ energy into right direction.
