STATE TIMES NEWS JAMMU: Jammu and Kashmir Freedom Fighters Association (JKFFA) on Sunday paid tributes to martyrs of Jallianwala Bagh massacre, during a function held at ‘Dogra Shaurya Samarak’, Ambphalla. On the occasion, participants lit candles in remembrance of martyrs amidst singing of National Anthem. A two minutes silence was also observed in memory of martyrs. The function, organised by the Chairman of the Association, Ved Gandotra and Vice Chairman Rajiv Mahajan, was also attended by President of Association, R C Puri. Speaking on the occasion, Rajinder Singh said that the aim of holding the function was to connect youth with incident that happened 100 years back at Amritsar. Paying tributes, Rajiv Mahajan said that 100 years ago, a number of freedom fighters and innocent civilians were martyred at Jallianwala Bagh by the British. Others present on the occasion included Th Karnail Chand, Brij Mehra, Pritam Sharma, Ravinder Mittal, R R Raina, Meetu Rajput, Santosh Bansotra, Prof R.P Sharma, Dr Karan Gupta and Gaurav.
